What causes this issue?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

System Response

The system found that an option rate method is assigned to the object
for key date &V1&, and this option rate method originates from your
legacy data transfer. Therefore the system is not able to determine the
option rate.

How to fix this error?

During legacy data transfer, the valid option rate for the time period
is entered in the master data, where you can check it. Option rate
determination is not necessary.
The master data has to be maintained or transferred in such a way that,
for the time period in which the option rates were still determined in
your legacy system, there are one or more rates, for which the <ZK>
Legacy Data</> indicator is set. In addition, you need to have an
additional option rate that is valid starting from the date you want to
perform option rate determination for the first time in RE-FX. The <ZK>
Legacy Data </>indicator is <ZH>not</> allowed to be set for this
record.

For Business Entity 1, the following option rates were determined using
the method "0001 - Area ratio (automatic)" method:
To the end of 2004: ,,30 %
January 2005 - April 2005: ,,25 %
May 2005 - June 2005: ,,60 %
For July 2005, no option rates were determined in the legacy system.
Transfer the option rates for this business entity as follows:

In this example, you cannot perform the first option rate determination
for RE-FX until July 2005, since this is the first time period for which
