R7667
- MultiProvider with non-cum. values must have unique time-dimensnsion ?The SAP error message R7667 indicates that there is an issue with the configuration of a MultiProvider in SAP BW (Business Warehouse) when it comes to handling non-cumulative values. Specifically, the error states that a MultiProvider that includes non-cumulative values must have a unique time dimension.
Cause:
The error occurs when you attempt to create or use a MultiProvider that combines InfoProviders (like InfoCubes or DataStore Objects) that have non-cumulative key figures, but the time dimensions of these InfoProviders are not unique. Non-cumulative key figures are those that do not accumulate over time, such as stock levels or balances, and they require a specific handling of time dimensions to ensure accurate reporting.
Solution:
To resolve this error, you can take the following steps:
Check Time Dimensions: Review the InfoProviders included in the MultiProvider. Ensure that each InfoProvider has a unique time dimension. If multiple InfoProviders share the same time dimension, you may need to adjust their configurations.
Modify MultiProvider: If necessary, modify the MultiProvider to ensure that it only includes InfoProviders with unique time dimensions. You may need to create separate MultiProviders for different sets of InfoProviders that can coexist without causing conflicts.
Adjust Key Figures: If applicable, consider whether any of the non-cumulative key figures can be changed to cumulative key figures, or vice versa, based on your reporting requirements.
Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific guidelines on configuring MultiProviders and handling non-cumulative key figures.
Testing: After making changes, test the MultiProvider to ensure that the error is resolved and that the data is being aggregated correctly.
Related Information:
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the R7667 error and ensure that your MultiProvider is configured correctly for reporting.
