  • What causes this issue?

    The time-dependency of an attribute of characteristic &V1& was changed.
    The master data table must therefore be converted. This conversion was
    not successful on the database.

    System Response

    Characteristic &V1& cannot be activated and is locked against changes
    until the activation is successful.

    How to fix this error?

    Analyze the activation log and try, after resolving the causes of
    error, to activate the characteristic &V1& once again.
    Where necessary consult your database administrator or report directly
    to SAP.
