Message text: Characteristic &1: Time-dependency of attribute &2 was changed -> conver.
The time dependency of attribute &V2& for characteristic &V1& has been
changed.
As time-dependent and time-independent attributes appear in various
master data tables, the master data has to be converted. Activation can
therefore take longer, if the master data tables contain a lot of
entries.
If the time dependency for attribute &V2& is switched on, it can no
longer be used in aggregates. The affected aggregates are deactivated.
If activation takes a very long time or is canceled because of timeout,
you will have to carry out the activation in the background. To do this
select 'Characteristic -->Activate in Background'.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

R7584
- Characteristic &1: Time-dependency of attribute &2 was changed -> conver. ?The SAP error message R7584 indicates that there is an issue with the time-dependency of an attribute in a characteristic. This typically occurs in the context of SAP's classification system, where characteristics can have attributes that may change over time. The error message suggests that the time-dependency of the specified attribute has been altered, which may lead to inconsistencies or conflicts in the data.
Cause:
- Change in Time-Dependency: The attribute's time-dependency has been modified, which can happen if the attribute was previously set to be time-dependent and is now being changed to a different setting.
- Data Inconsistency: There may be existing data that conflicts with the new time-dependency settings, leading to a situation where the system cannot reconcile the changes.
- Configuration Issues: The configuration of the characteristic or its attributes may not align with the expected settings, causing the system to raise this error.
Solution:
- Review Changes: Check the changes made to the time-dependency settings of the attribute. Ensure that the changes are intentional and valid.
- Data Consistency Check: Verify if there are existing records that may conflict with the new time-dependency settings. You may need to adjust or delete these records to resolve the conflict.
- Revert Changes: If the changes to the time-dependency were not necessary, consider reverting to the previous settings to maintain consistency.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for guidance on managing time-dependent attributes and characteristics.
- Testing: After making adjustments, test the changes in a development or test environment before applying them to the production system to ensure that the error does not recur.
