  • What causes this issue?

    The address-independent communication data can only be transferred to
    address-dependent communication data (and vice versa) when the input
    fields of the communication types in question (telephone, telefax and
    email) are ready for input.
    This means that the relevant field groups in the Customizing may not
    have the field status "Display" or "Hidden".

    How to fix this error?

    In the Customizing or in the Business Partner task level menu (BUPT),
    you change the status for the field groups <LS>Telephone Number</>,
    <LS>Telefax Number</> and <LS>Internet Email Address</> to <LS>Optional
    Entry</> or <LS>Not Specified</>.
    In order to navigate to the Customizing, choose <LS>Customizing</> in
    the toolbar of the Performance Assistant.
