  • What causes this issue?


    You want to delete a validity period for the inspection method and have
    made the setting in Customizing that the inspection method should be
    distributed when you save with ALE.

    You want to delete a validity period for the inspection method with the
    setting that the inspection method should be
    distributed when you save with ALE.
    However, in the following situations the validity period cannot be
    deleted:
    The validity period that you want to delete is the only validity period
    for this inspection method. After deletion no validity period would be
    available in the system.
    A version of the validity period to be deleted is still used in the
    target system.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    If you delete the inspection method, you might need to ensure that your
    inspection methods have the same status in the target system.
