    You must enter a (suitable) sampling procedure for the new
    characteristic. You either specified a sampling procedure, but left the
    radiobutton on "Keep Task List Data", did not specify a sampling
    procedure at all, or specified more than one sampling procedure.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    If the characteristic to be replaced does not have a suitable sampling
    procedure assigned to it in the task list, select a suitable sampling
    procedure and in the right screen area of the popup, select the line
    "Change" or "Add". There is no point in assigning more than one
    sampling procedure.
