QE116
- The last operation to be processed has been reached ?The SAP error message QE116, which states "The last operation to be processed has been reached," typically occurs in the context of Quality Management (QM) when you are trying to process a quality inspection lot. This message indicates that the system has reached the last operation in the sequence of operations for the inspection lot, and no further processing can be done.
Cause:
- End of Operations: The error usually arises when you attempt to perform an action (like recording results or making a decision) on an inspection lot that has already completed all its defined operations.
- Incorrect Sequence: You may be trying to execute a function that is not applicable at the current stage of the inspection lot.
- Status of Inspection Lot: The inspection lot may already be in a status that does not allow further processing (e.g., it has been completed or closed).
Solution:
- Check Inspection Lot Status: Verify the status of the inspection lot. If it is already completed, you will not be able to perform further operations. You can check the status in the inspection lot overview.
- Review Operations: Ensure that you are following the correct sequence of operations. If you have reached the last operation, you should finalize the inspection lot rather than trying to perform additional actions.
- Use Correct Transaction: Make sure you are using the appropriate transaction code for the action you are trying to perform. For example, if you are trying to record results, ensure you are in the correct transaction for that purpose.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help files for specific guidance on handling inspection lots and the operations associated with them.
- Contact Support: If you believe the error is occurring incorrectly or if you need further assistance, consider reaching out to your SAP support team or consulting with an SAP expert.
