PPEACT118
- Master reporting point for &1 &2 with scrap value in &3 &4 not allowed ?The SAP error message PPEACT118 indicates that there is an issue with a master reporting point in the context of production planning or process order management. Specifically, it suggests that the reporting point for a particular material (indicated by &1 and &2) has a scrap value that is not allowed in the specified context (indicated by &3 and &4).
Cause:
- Scrap Value Configuration: The scrap value for the reporting point may not be configured correctly in the system. This could be due to incorrect settings in the material master or the production order.
- Master Data Issues: There may be inconsistencies or missing data in the master data related to the reporting point, such as the production version or routing.
- Process Order Status: The status of the process order may not allow for scrap values to be reported, possibly due to the order being in a status that does not permit changes.
- Customizing Settings: The system configuration may not allow for scrap values at certain reporting points, which could be a result of specific business rules or settings in the SAP system.
Solution:
- Check Master Data: Review the master data for the material and ensure that the reporting point is correctly set up. Verify the scrap value settings in the material master and production version.
- Review Process Order: Check the status of the process order to ensure that it is in a state that allows for reporting scrap values. If necessary, change the status of the order or consult with your production planning team.
- Adjust Configuration: If the scrap value is indeed valid for the reporting point, you may need to adjust the configuration settings in the SAP system to allow for scrap values at that reporting point.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or consult with your SAP support team for specific configuration settings related to scrap values and reporting points.
