PPC0057
- A conf. was created too quickly after the previous reporting point &1 ?The SAP error message PPC0057 indicates that a confirmation was created too quickly after the previous reporting point for a particular operation in a production order. This typically occurs in the context of production planning and control, particularly when dealing with confirmations in the Production Planning (PP) module.
Cause:
The error arises when the system detects that a confirmation for a production operation is being entered before the required time interval has elapsed since the last confirmation. This is often governed by settings in the system that define how frequently confirmations can be made for a given operation. The purpose of this restriction is to ensure that production data is accurate and that operations are not confirmed prematurely.
Solution:
To resolve this error, you can consider the following steps:
Check Confirmation Intervals: Review the configuration settings for confirmation intervals in the production order. You may need to adjust the settings to allow for more frequent confirmations if your production process requires it.
Wait for the Required Time: If the confirmation is being attempted too soon, simply wait until the required time interval has passed since the last confirmation before attempting to enter the new confirmation.
Review Production Order Status: Ensure that the production order is in the correct status to allow for confirmations. If the order is not in a status that permits confirmations, you may need to change its status.
Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific details on the configuration of confirmation intervals and how they can be adjusted.
Check User Exits or BAdIs: If your organization has implemented custom logic (user exits or BAdIs) that affects confirmation processing, review that logic to ensure it is not causing the issue.
Contact SAP Support: If the issue persists and you cannot find a resolution, consider reaching out to SAP support for assistance.
