Message text: Replen. lead time [h:min] requires factory calendar and shift sequence
You have maintained a replenishment lead time in hours and minutes in
the control cycle. If this time is to be used to calculate the control
cycle, you must maintain the exact working time of the consumer (demand
source) in a factory calendar or shift sequence and then enter this
calendar or consumer's shift sequence in a calculation profile or the
production supply area (PSA). You must then assign the calculation
profile or the PSA to this control cycle.
You have not specified a factory calendar or shift sequence for the
consumer in either the PSA or the calculation profile.
The system issues this error message.
Check the calculation profile or the PSA. You can display the
calculation profile and PSA entered in the control cycle.
Enter the factory calendar and shift sequence for either the consumer
(demand source) or the supply source in the calculation profile. Or
enter the factory calendar and shift sequence for the consumer in the
PSA.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

PK546
- Replen. lead time [h:min] requires factory calendar and shift sequence ?The SAP error message PK546 indicates that there is an issue with the replenishment lead time configuration in the system. Specifically, it suggests that the system requires a factory calendar and shift sequence to properly calculate the replenishment lead time in hours and minutes.
Cause:
Missing Factory Calendar: The factory calendar defines the working days and hours for a specific plant or storage location. If this is not set up correctly, the system cannot determine the available working time for replenishment.
Missing Shift Sequence: The shift sequence defines the working shifts for the employees in a plant. If the shift sequence is not defined, the system cannot calculate the lead time based on the shifts.
Configuration Issues: There may be issues in the configuration of the material master or the planning parameters that are causing the system to not recognize the factory calendar or shift sequence.
Solution:
Check Factory Calendar:
- Go to the transaction code
SCAL
(Factory Calendar) in SAP.- Ensure that a factory calendar is created and assigned to the relevant plant or storage location.
- Verify that the calendar includes the correct working days and hours.
Check Shift Sequence:
- Go to the transaction code
OOSB
(Shift Sequence) in SAP.- Ensure that a shift sequence is defined and assigned to the relevant plant.
- Verify that the shift sequence includes the correct shifts and working hours.
Material Master Configuration:
- Check the material master data for the relevant material (transaction code
MM03
).- Ensure that the planning parameters are correctly set, including the replenishment lead time.
Re-run the Planning:
- After making the necessary adjustments, re-run the planning process to see if the error persists.
