  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You want to post a goods receipt for a kanban purchasing document.
However, the system cannot determine which kanban container(s) is/are to
be refilled automatically. Therefore, you have to distribute the
quantity between the kanban containers manually.

    System Response

You cannot post the goods receipt without <ZH>completely</> distributing
the goods receipt quantity to the kanban containers.
    &ACHTUNG&
If you distribute a quantity to a kanban container, the system will not
propose this kanban container in the next goods receipt - even if the
distributed quantity is less than the target kanban quantity (field
    <LS>Kanban quantity</>).
    &BEISPIEL&
If, for example, the target kanban quantity is 100 pieces and you make a
GR posting for 105 pieces, it makes sense to post the complete quantity
for one kanban container. If, instead, you post 100 pieces for one
kanban container and 5 for another, then both kanban containers will not
be proposed in the next goods receipt. If no more empty kanban
containers exist at the time of the next goods receipt posting, you
cannot proceed with the goods receipt posting.

    How to fix this error?

    Distribute the kanban quantity sensibly.
