- The employee is no longer with the company since &1 ?The SAP error message PG474 indicates that the employee you are trying to process is no longer active in the company as of a specific date. This typically occurs when you attempt to perform actions related to an employee who has been terminated or whose employment has ended.
Cause:
- Employee Termination: The employee has been officially terminated in the system, and their employment status is set to inactive.
- Date of Termination: The error message specifies a date (represented by &1) indicating when the employee's status changed to inactive.
- Data Entry Error: There may be an attempt to process payroll, update records, or perform other HR functions for an employee who is no longer active.

- Correct Actions: If you are trying to perform an action that is not valid for inactive employees (like processing payroll), you will need to ensure that you are only working with active employees.
- Reinstate Employee: If the employee should still be active (e.g., if the termination was a mistake), you may need to reinstate their employment status. This typically involves changing their status back to active in the system.
