  • Message class: PC - Graphics interface messages

  • Message number: 022

  • Message text: The list viewer cannot be started on this front end computer

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

An attempt was made to transfer a list object to the front-end computer
and to load it there into the local XXL list viewer.

    System Response

The local list viewer either does not exist or else cannot be started
from R/3. This is probably because the front-end computer does not run
under MS Windows. In certain environments (OS/2, for example), the list
viewer can be used, but cannot be started from R/3.

    How to fix this error?

Try to export the list object again without requesting the automatic
start of the list viewer (not possible in all R/3 applications) and
then start the local XXL list viewer manually.
If this does not work, you will need to export the list object from a
different PC. It may be possible to store the list object until then in
SAPoffice under a name of your choice (not, however, allowed by all R/3
    applications).
