  • What causes this issue?

    You have tried to release package &V1& without a signature. This is not
    possible if the package has not already been signed and replicated on
    the SMP.

    System Response

    The system terminates the required action.

    How to fix this error?

    At least one of the following activities must be executed before
    releasing a package:
    Execute the signature. The package is locked (if not already done) and
    the digital signature is executed with the final certificate. This
    information is then replicated on the SMP.
    Lock the package and choose "Final Signature". As part of this action,
    the digital siganture is executed using the final certificate. This
    information is then replicated on the SMP.
