Message text: Test density is calculated by the AGA c-code routines
The Quantity Calculation Interface (QCI) contains built-in routines that
are used to determine the base density, if a test density and test
conditions are entered. Customers can modify those calculations using
Business Add-In methods. If the AGA c-code routines are active, and the
density type is set to "relative density (air) = 4" in the conversion
group, the test density entered in the QCI will be overwritten with the
value calculated by the AGA routines.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
This message can be customized to appear as an information, warning or
error message, or not to appear at all (Transaction O591).

O3272
- Test density is calculated by the AGA c-code routines ?The SAP error message O3272, which states "Test density is calculated by the AGA c-code routines," typically relates to issues in the calculation of density for gas measurement in the context of SAP's process management or measurement systems. This error is often encountered in industries dealing with gas measurement, such as oil and gas, where accurate density calculations are crucial for billing and reporting.
Cause:
- Configuration Issues: The error may arise from incorrect configuration settings in the SAP system related to the AGA (American Gas Association) routines used for density calculations.
- Missing or Incorrect Data: If the input data required for the AGA routines is missing or incorrect, it can lead to this error. This includes parameters like temperature, pressure, and gas composition.
- Software Bugs: There may be bugs or issues in the version of the SAP software being used that affect the execution of the AGA routines.
- Incompatibility: The routines may not be compatible with the specific version of SAP or the configuration of the system.
Solution:
- Check Configuration: Review the configuration settings related to gas measurement and ensure that they are set up correctly according to the AGA standards.
- Validate Input Data: Ensure that all necessary input data for the density calculation is present and accurate. This includes checking the temperature, pressure, and gas composition data.
- Update Software: If the issue is due to a bug, check for any available updates or patches for your SAP system that may resolve the issue.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to the SAP documentation or help resources for specific guidance on the AGA routines and how to troubleshoot related errors.
- Contact SAP Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to SAP support for assistance. They can provide more detailed insights and help resolve the issue.
