  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The Quantity Conversion Interface (QCI) checks if the following heating
    value classes are consistent:
the base heating value class (maintained in the conversion group)
    the test heating value class
the target heating value class (material heating value class)

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

All three heating value classes have to be of the same main type, that
is, all have to be superior or all have to be inferior. Only then can a
consistent conversion be achieved. Wet-dry conversions have to be
implemented by customers using the Business Add-In methods.

    System Response

    QCI stops processing.

    How to fix this error?

If a customer wishes to convert an inferior to a superior energy
quantity or an inferior test heating value to a superior base heating
value within the Business Add-in method, this message can be customized
to appear as a warning or information message type (Trans. O591), so
that the QCI continues processing the conversion.
