Message text: Tables T006 and T006_OIB do not match
For Oil & Gas-specific unit of measure definitions, the IS-OIL
solution contains, starting with release 4.6B, table T006_OIB, which has
to be synchronized during a system upgrade with table T006 with a
special report (ROIBXUOM46B: XPRA to fill table T006_OIB for release
4.6B, ROIBXUOM_46C XPRA to fill table T006_OIB for release 4.6C,
ROIBXUOM_R3E for R3E release).
The maintenance transaction for units of measure has to be terminated.
Contact your system administrator.
Run the report ROIBXUOM_R3E to synchronize the two Customizing tables.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

O3212
- Tables T006 and T006_OIB do not match ?The SAP error message O3212 indicates that there is a mismatch between the entries in the tables T006 (Units of Measure) and T006_OIB (Units of Measure for the OIB). This error typically arises during operations that involve unit conversions or when trying to use a unit of measure that is not properly defined or synchronized between these two tables.
Cause:
- Data Inconsistency: The entries in T006 and T006_OIB are not aligned. This can happen if units of measure were added, modified, or deleted without proper synchronization.
- Custom Developments: If there are custom programs or enhancements that manipulate these tables, they may not be handling the data correctly.
- Transport Issues: If changes were transported from one system to another (e.g., from development to production), there may have been issues during the transport that caused inconsistencies.
Solution:
Check Data Consistency:
- Use transaction codes SE11 or SE16 to view the contents of tables T006 and T006_OIB.
- Compare the entries in both tables to identify discrepancies.
Synchronize Tables:
- If you find that entries are missing in either table, you may need to manually add or correct the entries to ensure both tables match.
- You can use transaction code OX19 to maintain units of measure and ensure they are correctly defined.
Recreate Entries:
- If the issue persists, consider deleting the problematic entries and recreating them to ensure they are correctly linked in both tables.
Check for Custom Code:
- Review any custom developments that may interact with these tables to ensure they are functioning correctly.
Transport Issues:
- If the issue arose after a transport, check the transport logs for errors and consider re-transporting the relevant objects.
Consult SAP Notes:
- Check the SAP Support Portal for any relevant SAP Notes that may address this specific error or provide additional guidance.
