O1089
- At this time, only 1 del.schedule for qty.schedule is supported ?The SAP error message O1089, which states "At this time, only 1 del.schedule for qty.schedule is supported," typically occurs in the context of delivery scheduling in SAP, particularly when dealing with quantity schedules in sales orders or delivery documents. This error indicates that the system is expecting only one delivery schedule for a quantity schedule, but it has encountered multiple schedules, which is not supported.
Cause:
Multiple Delivery Schedules: The primary cause of this error is that the system has detected more than one delivery schedule for a quantity schedule. This can happen if the sales order or delivery document has been configured incorrectly or if there are multiple line items that are trying to create separate delivery schedules for the same quantity.
Configuration Issues: There may be configuration settings in the SAP system that are not aligned with the business process requirements, leading to the creation of multiple delivery schedules.
Data Entry Errors: Incorrect data entry during the creation of sales orders or delivery documents can also lead to this error.
Solution:
Review Delivery Schedules: Check the delivery schedules associated with the sales order or delivery document. Ensure that there is only one delivery schedule for the quantity schedule. You can do this by navigating to the relevant transaction (e.g., VA03 for sales orders) and reviewing the schedule lines.
Adjust Quantity Schedule: If there are multiple schedules, you may need to consolidate them into a single delivery schedule. This can involve adjusting the quantities or delivery dates to ensure that they align correctly.
Check Configuration: Review the configuration settings in the SAP system related to delivery scheduling. Ensure that they are set up to support your business processes correctly. This may involve consulting with your SAP configuration team or a functional consultant.
Data Correction: If the error is due to incorrect data entry, correct the data in the sales order or delivery document. This may involve deleting or modifying the incorrect schedule lines.
Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for more detailed guidance on handling delivery schedules and related configurations.
