Business volume data is not updated as the business volume for the scale
    basis is missing.

    How to fix this error?

Ensure that the system is able to determine the business volume in the
    form given above.
A suitable unit conversion should be defined for this in the material

this data (info record, material master) to carry out the above
    conversion, but without success.

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message NAA109 - Error during conversion of unit of measure &1 to scale unit &2 ?

The SAP error message NAA109, which states "Error during conversion of unit of measure &1 to scale unit &2," typically occurs when there is an issue with converting a unit of measure (UoM) in the system. This can happen in various contexts, such as during material movements, inventory management, or when processing transactions that involve different units of measure.

    Causes:

    1. Incorrect Unit of Measure Configuration: The unit of measure may not be properly defined in the system, or there may be missing conversion factors between the units.
    2. Missing Conversion Factors: If the conversion factors between the source unit of measure and the target scale unit are not defined, the system cannot perform the conversion.
    3. Data Entry Errors: Incorrect data entry, such as using an unsupported or invalid unit of measure in a transaction.
    4. Inconsistent UoM Usage: Using different units of measure in the same transaction or process that are not compatible with each other.

    Solutions:

    1. Check Unit of Measure Configuration:

      • Go to the transaction code CUNI (Unit of Measure Conversion) to review the configuration of the units involved.
      • Ensure that both the source unit of measure (&1) and the target scale unit (&2) are defined correctly.
    2. Define Missing Conversion Factors:

      • If conversion factors are missing, you can define them in the same transaction (CUNI).
      • Make sure that the conversion factors are accurate and reflect the correct relationship between the units.
    3. Review Data Entry:

      • Check the transaction or document where the error occurred for any incorrect entries.
      • Ensure that the units of measure used are valid and supported by the system.
    4. Consult Documentation:

      • Review SAP documentation or help resources for specific details on unit of measure handling in your version of SAP.
    5. Testing:

      • After making changes, perform a test transaction to ensure that the error is resolved.

    Related Information:

    • Transaction Codes:

      • CUNI: For maintaining unit of measure conversions.
