SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message number: 033

  • Message text: Main GTIN for material &1, unit of measure &2, and GTIN &3 inconsistent

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

During the import, multiple data records for the same article &V1&, unit
of measure &V2&, and GTIN &V3& were submitted; however, the <ZK>Main
GTIN</> indicator has different statuses for the article, unit of
measure, and GTIN. This means that the system cannot determine whether
the <ZK>Main GTIN</> indicator for this article, unit of measure, and
GTIN should be set or not.

    System Response

The relevant data lines are flagged as having errors. Due to this
inconsistency, the system cannot check whether the <ZK>Main GTIN</>
indicator is correctly set for all other GTINs for article &V1& and unit
of measure &V2&. These dependent data records are therefore also flagged
    as having errors.

    How to fix this error?

Whenever possible, avoid including the same data record (that is, the
same article, unit of measure, and GTIN) multiple times. The data
redundancy is tolerated as long as the data records have the same
    content.
You can correct the error in two ways:
By adjusting the data in your input file/in the clipboard
In the transaction, by correcting the <ZK>Main GTIN</> indicator in one
of the incorrect GTINs for this article and unit of measure.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    5. Consult Documentation:

      • Review SAP documentation or consult with your SAP support team for any specific configurations related to GTINs in your system.
