Cause:
This error usually arises when you attempt to change the characteristics of a batch that has not yet been created or is not yet available in the system. Specifically, it indicates that the system is expecting a goods receipt (GR) batch to exist for the material in question, but it does not. This can happen in scenarios such as:

(Display Batch) orMMBE
(Stock Overview) to check the status of the batch.Post Goods Receipt: If the batch does not exist, ensure that the goods receipt for the production order or delivery has been posted. This will create the necessary batch in the system.
Review Production Order: If you are working with a production order, check the status of the order. Ensure that it is completed and that the goods receipt has been posted.
Batch Characteristics Maintenance: If you need to change the characteristics of a batch, ensure that you are doing so for a batch that is already created and available in the system.
