  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message MIGRATE_PRICING_MSG092 - Data found in field KONV-&1 that is not in PRCD_ELEMENTS. See long text. ?

The SAP error message MIGRATE_PRICING_MSG092 indicates that there is a discrepancy between the pricing conditions stored in the KONV table and the expected structure in the PRCD_ELEMENTS table. This typically occurs during data migration or when updating pricing conditions in SAP.

    Cause:

    1. Data Inconsistency: The error suggests that there are entries in the KONV table (which stores condition records for pricing) that do not have corresponding entries in the PRCD_ELEMENTS table (which is used for the new pricing structure in SAP S/4HANA).
    2. Migration Issues: If you are migrating from an older version of SAP (like SAP ECC) to S/4HANA, the migration process may not have correctly mapped all the pricing conditions.
    3. Custom Developments: Custom pricing logic or modifications may lead to inconsistencies if they are not properly aligned with the new pricing structure.

    Solution:

    1. Data Validation: Check the entries in the KONV table for the specific field mentioned in the error message. You can use transaction codes like SE16 or SE11 to view the data.
    2. Mapping Check: Ensure that all pricing conditions in KONV are correctly mapped to the new structure in PRCD_ELEMENTS. This may involve reviewing the migration settings or scripts used during the data migration.
    3. Adjust Migration Settings: If you are using a migration tool (like SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit), review the settings and mappings to ensure that all necessary data is being transferred correctly.
    4. Manual Correction: If specific entries are found to be problematic, you may need to manually correct or delete these entries in the KONV table, ensuring that they are consistent with the new pricing structure.
    5. Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP Notes or documentation related to pricing migration for specific guidance on handling this error. SAP may provide specific notes that address known issues or provide scripts for data correction.
