    The classification data, which is necessary to display the variants of
    the generic material in the matrix, does not exist. This means that the
    classification data on the variants is inconsistent. This error should
    normally never occur.

    System Response

    Since the variants can no longer be displayed in the matrix, no new
    variants can be created.

    How to fix this error?

    Ask your system administrator to contact SAP so that the precise cause
    of the data inconsistency can be established and eliminated.
