In this example, it is not possible to change the version type because

New version type fields:
MARA-MEINS, MARA-GEWEI, MARA-BTGEW
Example 2:
In this example it is possible to change the version type.
Old version type fields:
MARA-MEINS, MARA-GEWEI, MARC-EKGRP
New version type fields:
MARA-MEINS, MARA-GEWEI
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
You can only change the version type if you select a new version type
from a type whose fields are already assigned as cross-version in the
old version type.
