- Use of wildcard and invalid operators not supported in fuzzy search ?The SAP error message MDG_ES_SEARCH029 indicates that there is an issue with the use of wildcards or invalid operators in a fuzzy search within the Master Data Governance (MDG) application. This error typically arises when a user attempts to perform a search using characters or operators that are not supported by the fuzzy search functionality.

Solution:
- Remove Wildcards: Ensure that the search query does not include any wildcard characters. Instead of using wildcards, try to use complete words or phrases.
- Check for Invalid Operators: Review the search string for any unsupported operators or special characters and remove them.
- Use Simple Search Terms: Simplify the search terms to basic keywords that are relevant to the data you are trying to find.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to the SAP MDG documentation for guidelines on the correct syntax and supported features for fuzzy searches.
- Test with Different Queries: If the error persists, try different search queries to identify which specific terms or characters are causing the issue.
