Message class: MCEX - Extraction Interface LIS/BW
Message number: 029
Message text: Update is activated. Note long text
You want to maintain the extract structure although the update is
active. If you change the structure, the update is automatically
deactivated. Before you do this, you should note the following points:
The changes should be carried out in a posting free time. Otherwise
initialization is necessary so that the documents due during the change
do not get lost.
Is there still data in the V3 update? You can see this in the
<DS:TRAN.SM13>update overview</>. If you are not sure, start the V3
update directly and deactivate the update.
Is there stil data in central delta management? You can check this in
<DS:TRAN.RSA7>BW Maintenance Delta Queue</>. Before a change, you
should collect the data from BW.
To ensure that a change does not affect the V3 update, you should first
deactivate the update of all extractors of the relevant application in
all clients.
If you have already restructured data, it will be worthless after the
change. You need to <DS:TRAN.LBWG>delete</> the data again.
If the <DS:TRAN.LBWF>update log</> is active, the log data can no
longer be read after a change. This is only possible after an update
and overwriting the last log entry.
