type in the given plant. Since a minimum remaining shelf life has been
defined for the material in the material master record or in the
purchase order, you have to enter the production date at the time of
the goods receipt.
The system calculates the shelf life expiration date from the production
date plus the total shelf life of the material.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
