  • What causes this issue?

    The system calculated the shelf life expiration date of the batch
    from the entered production date plus the total shelf life of the
    material.
    A shelf life expiration date has already been defined for this batch.
    However, the expiration date calculated by the system is different from
    expiration date of the batch.

    System Response

    Depending on how the system is set, this message is either a warning or
    an error message.

    How to fix this error?

    Check the expiration date/production date or the batch number.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    If this message is an error message, you can
    either terminate the current transaction
    or enter a new batch
    If this message is a warning, you can post the goods receipt. However,
    the old expiration date is replaced the new one.
