What causes this issue?

You have changed the schedule of a course for which rooms or equipment
have already been reserved.

System Response

Reservations still remain for time segments in the course schedule that
existed before the schedule was changed.
If a single time segment has been changed, assignments may have
partially remained. For example, if a time segment between 10:00 and
12:00 has been moved up by half and hour, two time segments are created
when a room is assigned: 09:30-10:00 has no room assignment and
10:00-11:30 has the previous room assignment.
No rooms or equipment are assigned to new time segments.
