  • What causes this issue?

    The GENERAL audit area is a general audit area with special runtime
    logic.
    Within an <ZK>available policy category</>, the GENERAL audit area and
    another audit area cannot be <ZK>active</> at the same time. Either only
    the GENERAL audit area can have the <ZK>active</> status or one or more
    other audit areas. (This is not valid for the ILM object SN_META.
    SN_META can be assigned to all audit areas without any restrictions.)

    System Response

    Setting the status of the GENERAL audit area to <ZK>active</> is not
    possible.

    How to fix this error?

    If you want to use the GENERAL audit area for a <ZK>permitted policy
    category</>, you must first set the status for each remaining registered
    audit areas to <ZK>not active</>.
    Then you can set the status of the GENERAL audit area to <ZK>active</>.

    Procedure for System Administrators

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
