  • What causes this issue?

You attempted to delete an entry from the administration table for the
posting deadline. This entry belongs to an end-of-day processing run
that is currently still active. You are not permitted to delete this.
If you want to change the posting deadline manually, you have to
specify the date and time of this posting deadline in the last two
columns of the row, and then save your entries.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

In general, it is not necessary to delete entries manually from the
administration table for the posting deadline. This is because, at the
start of each end-of-day processing run, data records that are no
longer required are automatically removed from the table. You only need
to delete records manually as an exception.
