The SAP error message L9041 indicates that a specific storage type is not suitable for use as an interface due to issues related to capacity checks. This typically occurs in the context of Warehouse Management (WM) or Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) when the system is trying to perform operations that require a storage type to be configured as an interface, but the storage type does not meet the necessary criteria.

    Cause:

    1. Capacity Check Configuration: The storage type may have a capacity check configured that prevents it from being used as an interface. This can happen if the storage type is set to check for available capacity before allowing any stock movements.
    2. Storage Type Settings: The storage type may not be configured correctly in the system. For example, it may not be marked as an interface storage type in the configuration settings.
    3. Stock Type Restrictions: The stock type or the handling unit type associated with the storage type may not be compatible with the operations being performed.
    4. Warehouse Management Settings: The overall warehouse management settings may not allow for the specified storage type to be used as an interface.

      • Navigate to the Warehouse Management section and check the settings for the specific storage type.
      • Ensure that the storage type is marked as an interface storage type and that the capacity check settings are appropriate.

      • If the capacity check is causing the issue, consider adjusting the settings to allow for the storage type to be used as an interface. This may involve changing the capacity check from "Check" to "No Check" or adjusting the parameters of the check.
    3. Review Stock Type and Handling Unit Settings:

      • Ensure that the stock types and handling units associated with the storage type are compatible with the operations you are trying to perform.
    4. Consult Documentation:

      • Review SAP documentation or help resources related to Warehouse Management and storage type configuration for additional guidance.
    5. Testing:
