What causes this issue?

The target version specifies the method by which
<DS:GLOS.target_costs>target costs</> are to be calculated.
For distribution, the target cost version specifies that the target
costs for the products in the cost object hierarchy are to be
calculated using the standard cost estimates for the products.
The target cost version points to a cost element group. Actual costs
that are posted to a cost element different to that for the target
costs, are assigned to a cost element group.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
