    You can save variables when you define the form or in the report
    definition on the screen 'Limit characteristic selection'. No such
    variables are, however, available.
    You have either tried to get the variable entry on the screen or to
    sort the variables. As no variables are available this function is
    impossible.
    If you have created variables in the form and this message appears
    anyway, you should note the variable type. For the output of this
    message is whther variables which require user entry are available. It
    os entirely possible that you use variables in the form which are
    automatically filled by the system.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
