KQ144
- Status no. of status TECO must be higher than that of status DLV ?The SAP error message KQ144 indicates that there is an issue with the status of a production order or a process order in the system. Specifically, it states that the status "TECO" (Technically Completed) must have a higher status than "DLV" (Delivered). This error typically arises when trying to change the status of an order in a way that violates the logical sequence of statuses.
Cause:
Status Sequence Violation: The order is currently in a status that does not allow it to be set to "TECO" because it is still marked as "DLV". In SAP, the status "TECO" indicates that the order is technically complete, while "DLV" indicates that the order has been delivered. The system requires that the order must be in a state that allows it to be technically completed after it has been delivered.
Incorrect Order Processing: The order may have been incorrectly processed, or there may be inconsistencies in the order status due to manual changes or system errors.
Solution:
Check Order Status: Review the current status of the order in question. You can do this by navigating to the order in the SAP system and checking the status overview.
Change Status Appropriately: If the order is still in the "DLV" status, you may need to reverse or change the status to a previous state that allows you to set it to "TECO". This might involve:
- Setting the order back to a status that is lower than "DLV" (if applicable).
- Ensuring that all necessary steps in the order processing have been completed before attempting to set it to "TECO".
Use Transaction Codes: You can use transaction codes like
CO02
(Change Order) orCO03
(Display Order) to manage the order statuses.Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or your organization's internal guidelines for managing order statuses to ensure compliance with the required processes.
