  • What causes this issue?

    Value "&V2&" for characteristic "&V1&" contains characters that are not
    allowed.
    Observe the following:
    RESET N1
    Asterisks (*) cannot be used together with any other characters. They
    can only be entered as the sole character in the "From" field for
    certain characteristics (as the symbol for "all values"). Partially
    generic entries such as "123*" are not possible.
    Question marks (?) cannot be used. Partially generic entries such as
    "1?34" are not possible.
    Hash signs (#) represent the initial value (blank or zero) and cannot
    appear together with other characters. You cannot enter a hash mark in
    the "To" field for a characteristic.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
