What causes this issue?

You are attempting to change the master system for profit center &v1&.

System Response

If you were to do this, the data for all future postings to profit
center &v1& would be sent to the new master system. However, old data
would not be moved automatically from the current master system to the
new one. The data in the new system would therefore be incomplete.
This would mean, for example, that when documents were deleted later,
the corresponding original documents would not exist in the new master
system. This would cause discrepancies to arise. Given these factors,
the system does not normally allow you to change the home system for
profit centers.

How to fix this error?

Cancel the master system change if you have received an error message.
In Customizing, you can convert this error message to a warning, or
switch it off completely. You do this in the Implementation Guide (IMG)
for Profit Center Accounting, under Tools ->
