However, profit center &V1& is already assigned to the controlling area
as the dummy profit center, although no postings have been made to it.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

When you press 'Enter' the new profit center will be created and
assigned to the controlling area as the dummy profit center. Original
dummy profit center &V1& will become a normal profit center so that it
can be used in another profit center group if necessary.
