SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: KJ - Cost Object Controlling for Make-to-Order Production

  • Message number: 345

  • Message text: End indicator set to '&'

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The system automatically sets the End indicator to M under the following
    conditions:
The results analysis type is Z (cancel data of WIP calculation and
results analysis) in the relevant valuation method, or
The final results analysis indicator in the relevant valuation method is
set and you are neither using the period-based status for actual results
analysis nor are you using status control "C" as defined in the results
    analysis version.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

If the End indicator is set to M, WIP calculation or results analysis
can be extended to include periods following the results analysis period
you entered. This only happens if WIP calculation or results analysis
for the periods following the results analysis period has already been
executed and saved. In this case, any values calculated in such periods
    are automatically recalculated.
    If you use the
    Period-based status, or
Status control C as defined in the results analysis version,
the system sets the end indicator for actual results analysis
    automatically to "E".
If the End indicator is set to E, WIP calculation or results analysis
cannot be extended to include the periods following the results analysis
period you specified. You must explicitly repeat the WIP calculation or
results analysis for these periods, providing that a WIP calculation or
results analysis was already executed in these periods.
