  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You want to plan resource &V1& under cost element &V4&. In the master
record for this resource, you specified that it should be calculated
using base planning object &V2&. However, in base planning object &V2&
it is defined that it can only be planned under cost element &V3&. The
system is therefore unable to determine a valid price using the
    combination you have entered.

    System Response

The system takes a resource price of zero for the plan valuation.

    How to fix this error?

Plan the resource under cost element &V3&, change the cost element of
base planning object &V2& to &V4&.
Note that in both cases the system does not trigger automatic
revaluation of any existing records on the database. For this reason
you should carry out the revaluation manually, using (Planning: Initial
Screen: Extras -> Revaluate resource planning).
