- Inconsistency in the plant data ?The SAP error message JITOUT118, which indicates "Inconsistency in the plant data," typically arises in the context of Just-In-Time (JIT) processing. This error suggests that there is a mismatch or inconsistency in the data related to the plant configuration or the materials being processed.
Causes:
- Data Inconsistency: There may be discrepancies in the master data for the plant, such as material master records, vendor data, or configuration settings.
- Missing Data: Required data fields may be missing or incorrectly filled in the material master or plant settings.
- Configuration Issues: Incorrect settings in the JIT configuration or in the related logistics execution settings can lead to this error.
- Transport Issues: If changes were transported from one system to another (e.g., from development to production), inconsistencies may arise if the transport was not executed correctly.
Solutions:
- Check Material Master Data: Verify that the material master data for the affected materials is complete and consistent. Ensure that all necessary views (e.g., Basic Data, Purchasing, MRP) are correctly maintained.
- Review Plant Settings: Check the plant-specific settings in the configuration. Ensure that all required parameters are set correctly for the JIT process.
