    You entered an invalid value in the <LS>application type</> field in
    the benefit types table.
    SAP provides the following values for the topmost benefit type within a
    subclaim:
    Empty: per subclaim
    1: cross-subclaim
    3: per claim item
    Customer-specific values can also be defined.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    You have two options of rectifying the error:
    Enter one of the above values in the <LS>application type</> field.
    You can also obtain the required application type by adding a higher-
    level benefit type to the subclaim.
