What causes this issue?

You tried to create a business partner in a role
in which the business partner already exists, or
that corresponds to another role in which the business partner already
exists
If you were to create the business partner in role &v2&, this would
lead to senseless data.
Example:
Business partner 1 has already been created in the role of <ZK>Driver
of Insured Vehicle</>.
You now want to create business partner 1 in the role of <ZK>Driver of
Third Party Vehicle</>.
It does not make sense to enter the same business partner as the driver
of two different vehicles. The system prevents you from doing so.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
