  • What causes this issue?

    Date &v2& on which the contract was renewed for the last time before the
    claim event, is not in the validity period of <DS:DE.ICL_CLTYPE>internal
    claim type</> &v1&.

    System Response

    The system does not allow you to create a claim with the date &v2& for
    internal claim type &v1&.

    How to fix this error?

    Check whether
    You selected a valid combination of <DS:DE.ICL_POLPROD>policy product</>
    and <DS:DE.ICL_LOSSTYPE>incident type</> for internal claim type &v1&
    You entered the correct claim date
    The renewal date of the contract is incorrect
    If these entries are in order, perform one of the following activities:
    Edit the claim manually
    Change the Customizing for the Claims Management system. In this case,
    contact your system administrator.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Procedure for System Administrators

    In Customizing, create a new generation of the internal claim type that
    covers the renewal date of the contract.
