  • What causes this issue?

    You can only post a partial quantity to a handling unit using goods
    movements if the storage location to which material &V1& was posted has
    the same HU-management characteristic as the storage locations of the
    other materials in handling unit &V2&. In other words, all storage
    locations involved must either be HU-managed or non-HU-managed.

    How can this happen?

    A handling unit has Inventory Management information. The storage
    location to which the item is to be posted is not HU-managed, however.
    A handling unit has no Inventory Management information. The storage
    location to which the item is to be posted is HU-managed, however.

    System Response

    It is not possible to make this material posting.

    How to fix this error?

    Post material &V1& to another storage location.
