  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The batch and serial number requirement of the material are not known
as long as the item has not been allocated to a
<DS:DE.PLANTS_D>PLANT</>. Items without plant assignment are therefore
    not suggested for packing.
The <DS:DE.STOR.LOC._D>Storage location/> controls if a handling unit
contains stock information. Since this information must be known at the
time of packing, the items without storage location will not be
    suggested for packing.
Exception: on the document of inbound delivery, the material is
non-existent on stock level. Thus, there is no storage location
requirement on the document of inbound delivery.
