Message text: Selection class &1 has overlapping weighted periods
The following condition was not taken into account:
If a selection class has the type <LS>With weighting factor</>, the
selected periods should not overlap within the selection class.
The errors causing this message are:
The above condition has not been observed. The selection exit returns
weighted periods that overlap. If this is the case, the selection exit
has been incorrectly programmed.
The selection class contains several selection rules with weighting
factors. At least two of these selection rules generate weighted
periods that overlap. In this case, the Customizing settings are
incorrect.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Correct the incorrect selection exit.
Check and change the Customizing settings for the incorrect selection
class.
&ADDITIONAL_HINTS&
A selection class inherits the weighting factor type from the selection
rules assigned to it. A selection class has the type <LS>With weighting
factor</> if the following applies to an assigned selection rule:
A selection exit with an active <LS>With weighting type</> indicator is
specified for the selection exit.
The <LS>Time Specifications/Employment Period</> infotype (0552) is
specified for the <LS>Infotype</> category and the entry of a weighted
period is defined for the
<DS:GLOS.36D849553F3C357AE10000009B38F985>time specification type</>.
In all other cases, the selection class has the weighting factor type
<LS>Without weighting factor</>.
Only selection rules with the type <LS>With weighting factor</> or only
selection rules with the type <LS>Without weighting factor</> can be
assigned to a selection class.
