Message text: Late Leaver processing not possible. Employment &1 is still active on &2
The current employee being processed through the payroll cannot be
processed as a Late Leaver because your system has been customised to
consolidate the contracts of every employee that has more than one
contract of employment with their employer and not all contracts have
been terminated.
No Late Leaver processing can be performed.
All the contracts of an employee must be terminated to process one of
them as a Late Leaver.
If the system should not be set up to consolidate each contract for
every employee that has more than one contract of employment with their
employer, then change the system constants (Table T77S0: entry HRPSG
ME).
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- Late Leaver processing not possible. Employment &1 is still active on &2 ?The SAP error message HRPSGB_ME_NEW011 indicates that there is an issue with processing a late leaver in the HR module. Specifically, the message states that late leaver processing is not possible because the employment for the specified employee (denoted as &1) is still active on the specified date (denoted as &2).
Cause:
- Active Employment Status: The primary cause of this error is that the employee's employment status is still marked as active in the system. Late leaver processing typically applies to employees who have left the organization, and if their status is still active, the system will not allow the processing of late leaver actions.
- Incorrect Dates: The date specified for the late leaver processing may not align with the employee's actual termination date or the date when the late leaver processing is intended to occur.
- Configuration Issues: There may be configuration settings in the SAP system that are preventing the late leaver processing from being executed correctly.
Solution:
Check Employment Status: Verify the employment status of the employee in question. If the employee has indeed left the organization, ensure that their status is updated to reflect this. You can do this by:
- Navigating to the employee's record in the SAP HR module.
- Checking the employment status and making necessary updates to reflect that the employee has left.
Review Dates: Ensure that the date you are trying to process for late leaver actions is correct. It should correspond to the employee's actual termination date. If the date is incorrect, adjust it accordingly.
Terminate Employment: If the employee is no longer with the organization, you may need to formally terminate their employment in the system. This can typically be done through the transaction code PA40 (Personnel Actions) or similar HR transactions.
Consult Configuration: If the issue persists, consult with your SAP HR configuration team to ensure that the system settings for late leaver processing are correctly configured. There may be specific rules or settings that need to be adjusted.
Check for Pending Actions: Ensure that there are no pending actions or processes that need to be completed for the employee before late leaver processing can occur.
