  • What causes this issue?

During the processing of incoming data from the Inland Revenue, a
Multiple Employment situation has occured that requires your attention
as it cannot be handled by the system automatically.
The "infotype copy" functionality is active for the infotype that is
being updated with incoming data. This means that all Personnel Numbers
that are linked via IT0031 will be updated with the incoming data.
However, the system has been customised (via feature 08MEL) so that not
all of the Personnel Numbers that are linked via IT0031 are treated as
linked for aggregation during payroll (i.e. NICs and Tax). This means
that it is not necessarily true that all the linked records should be
    updated with the incoming data.
However, the "infotype copy" functionality will automatically update all
    the linked records.
This warning message helps you to identify records that have been
updated in this manner and maybe should not have been.

    How to fix this error?

If you choose to accept this incoming data then you should check that
the employee's record that has been overwritten, by the incoming data
from another employee, is as you would wish it to be.
If you choose not to accept this incoming data then you can
    either apply the changes manually
or you may choose that the infotype in question should not be linked via
    the "infotype copy" functionality.
If you choose to unlink the infotype then this message will not be
    issued again.
